OFFICE OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION: ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction has recently implemented, on behalf of the Washington State legislature, a mandatory program of environmental sustainability and energy efficiency called the Washington Sustainable School Protocol, or WSSP. During the development of WSSP, various committees were formed to research and make recommendations for practicable requirements. Nancy was asked to participate in two of these committees, and was instrumental in the final version of the Protocol currently in use by public school districts in Washington.  Click here to link to the Protocol.
