COUNCIL OF EDUCATIONAL FACILITY PLANNERS INTERNATIONAL (CEFPI)
The Council of Educational Facility Planners International is dedicated to providing information about school buildings in support of best practices for educating children.
Chapters are located extensively in the United States, Canada, and Australia, with emerging participation in Singapore and other Asian countries.
Nancy has been a board member of the Washington Chapter since 2004, and in 2007 – 2008, will serve as President providing key leadership for its 230 members plus affiliated participants. A Catalyst for Relevant Learning Environments is this year’s vision statement crafted by the board to help focus more than 35 volunteers working together on the school tours, speakers, and student presentations at chapter dinner meetings, the annual conference at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, the spring school bus tour, legislative issues, and a celebration of the nationally recognized School Building Week. Nancy will also represent the Washington Chapter at the 2008 CEFPI international conference in Toronto.
